This category is open to any type of company whose predominant business is construction - the only criteria is that it must have a turnover of less than £50m
We are looking for companies that have great progress over the last three years, growing financially and in the service they provide clients
However, this category is not just about business growth - turnover or profit growth is a factor but only one and judges will be looking for evidence that this company is a great example of a company working in the construction industry.
Entries should provide evidence of:
- Turnover and profit growth over the past three years
- Examples of successfully delivered work for clients
- Being a good employer in terms of training, development and culture
- Treating the supply chain fairly
- A commitment to improving performance on sustainability and corporate social responsibility
There will also be a strong focus on the company's plans for the future. The entry should include a clear outline of the company's strategy for growth and improvement over the next two years.
Please provide a most recent annual report and company accounts.
Companies which enter this category will be asked to provide a set of data covering key statistics, and will be contacted after the deadline with details.
An interview will be held for shortlisted candidates during May.
