Specialist Contractor of the Year

This category looks at the overall performance of a company in calendar year 2011. Judges will be looking for evidence of business success and development, and the quality of work it does for clients.

Examples of initiatives judges would like to hear about (with evidence of their success) include:
• action to reduce the company's carbon footprint
• good management of its supply chain, including payment terms.
• Work towards a good workforce culture, with training and development

Please also provide details of some sample projects the company has worked on during 2011 and what its contribution has been.

Above all judges will be looking for evidence that the company is not just good, but outperforms its peers

Entrants should supply turnover and profit figures for 2011 and 2010 and supply a copy of the most recent annual report if it exists.

An interview will be held with shortlisted candidates during May.
